Name: Dragonstar
Gender: she-cat
Age: 12 moons
Clan: OceanClan
Position: leader
Description: Black colored she-cat with pale emerald green eyes. She has big paws and claws, great for running and in battle.
Personality: Stubborn, brave, willing, and loyal to her clan. She is sometimes underestimated by other cats and clan members, but she obeys the warrior code and would die for her clan.
History: When she was born, OceanClan had a severe shortage of cats, and were in danger of being wipped out. Dragonstar, known as Aoi at the time, was a loner and helpless kit, yet very valuable to the clan. She was raised by one of the nursing queens, and was given the name Dragonkit, due to her sharp claws and long fangs. When she was four moons old and still a kit, her adoptive mother was killed by a vicious and insane wolf that had abondoned WolfTribe. The clan's numbers were dwindling yet agian, and they needed more warriors soon. Dragonkit had just turned five moons when she became Dragonpaw, a moon earlier than the time she should have been apprenticed. She trained for five months, and by then OceanClan had taken in several more cats out of desperation. She was made a warrior at the age of ten moons, a very young age. The deputy was killed by falling into death pit, and Dragonspirit (her new warrior name,) was the only choice they had as deputy. She served as deputy for one moon before the OceanClan leader died of old age. Many cats protested and said that she was to young to be leader, but she had been approved by StarClan as deputy, meaning that she had no choice but to except her fate. She has been leader for one moon now, and has been trying very hard to keep OceanClan from falling apart.
Example RP: A roar of disapproval ran through the crowd of cats. Many of them said things such as, "She's to young!" or "She wasn't clan born, she'll never be able to lead our clan!"
Dragonspirit sat as still as she could, trying hard not to let the protesting cats get the best of her. She knew that this was her fate, StarClan had made her deputy for a reason, and now she was destined to become leader.
"Silence!" The medicine cat hissed, his voice sharp and angry, "It is StarClan's decision, so let it be so!"
Despite the truth in his statement, many cats still rang on in disapproval,
"But there are better leaders in our clan!" One of them yowled above the rest, "Many of us have been here longer and know the ways of our clan, unlike this one." The cat, who was a grey colored tom, flickered his angry gaze on Dragonspirit, his stare burning through her jet-black pelt.
Dragonspirit unsheathed her claws in anger, "Are you saying I can't lead this clan? I may be young, but that doesn't mean I am to be underestimated. It matters most that I understand the warriorcode and have faith in StarClan, which I do. I have walked with our warrior ancestors in my dreams, they tell me that it is my destiny that I should be standing here today, to be appointed as the rightful leader of OceanClan."
The gray tom growled, "How can we possibly trust you? For all any of us know, you could be lying. How can we know if StarClan approves of your little speach as we speak?"
As if to answer him, clouds covered the setting sun, and the sky turned dark red. All the cats looked up, and began muttering among themselves, wondering what the omen must mean.
"See!!" The grey tom exclaimed, "Are you blind?! Can't you see that StarClan is clearly disapproving!"
As he said this, the sky darkened, shining an erie light across the water of the OceanClan beach.
"You fool!" Dragonspirit growled, disgusted, "The aren't dissapproving me, they are disapproving you! Couldn't you see the sky darken when you spoke?!"
A murmmur of agreement sounded among the cats.
The grey tom hissed, "You mouse-brains! She is lying LYING!"
"Be quiet, this isn't making StarClan happy at all! They clearly approve of Dragonspirit, and I approve of her too!" The medicine cat boomed, followed by more shouts of agreement.
"What are you talking about, your insane!!! All of you INSANE!" The grey tom's fur bristled, angry as hell.
"Silentclaw." The medicine cat said softly, "The decision is not yours, I suggest you-"
"Don't tell me what to DOOO!!!" Silentclaw's tabby fur bristled, and he lept for the medicine cat.
Dragonspirit reacted quickly, bolting over and colliding with Silentclaw, pinning him to the ground. He shook his head angerly and let out out a hiss of disgust, "You may have won this time, but I'm keeping my eye on you..." He said it with such venom in his voice, it struck Dragonspirit like a thorn through the heart.
"Let him go." The medicine cat growled, keeping his voice low, trying to hide his pure hatred for the cat, "He'll have to be guarded tonight."
"Insane cat." Some other cans murmured as they took him away, "Deserves punishment."
As the dragged him away, he took one, last, hateful look at Dragonspirit, his eyes ragging like fire.
I'm keeping my eye on you...
His words mad Dragonspirit shudder, and she thought to herself:
One more cat I should avoid.....
